ROAD NOTIFICATION - Emcon Services -

Heavy truck traffic- annual road maintenance gravel delivery is scheduled for Wed./ Thurs. Oct. 7&8.  Off loading usually requires 2 days. Trucks are expected to begin hauling around 09:00 on Wed. and continue until early Wed. evening.  Thursday morning will have an early start and hauling will continue until the barge is empty.  As usual there will be 5 or 6 "off island" drivers and trucks doing this work.  Please keep in mind some areas of our local roads don't have strong enough shoulders to support these trucks when loaded.  Please drive with extra care and attention during this time and do your best to ensure these trucks don't need to move to the shoulder to avoid a collision.
