Campfire Ban lifted - Fire Hazard reduced

#1-Campfire Ban within the entire Coastal Fire Centre area has been lifted. Restrictions on backyard burning (category 2) and burning machine made piles (category 3) remain in effect.

#2-Our local fire hazard rating is lowered to Moderate.  For those conducting high risk forest activities a one hour fire watch is required after work has shut down for the day.  When the fire hazard rating is reduced to Low the fire watch restriction will be removed, however if forest fuels and ground surface conditions dry out again this will increase the fire hazard rating, please stay informed about restrictions to high risk activities.
