FIRE HAZARD RATING - HIGH - August 13/2015

Our local Fire Hazard Rating returned to HIGH today, a 2 hour fire watch is required.  After 3 days with a fire hazard rating of HIGH (including today) Early Shift Restrictions will come into effect.  If you are undertaking any high risk activities as described by BC Forests during fire season it is your personal responsibility to stay informed as to current conditions (daily) and have a clear understanding how the BC Wildfire Regulations may affect you.  Please note that for the first 3 days with a fire hazard rating of HIGH work can proceed all day however a 2 Hour Fire Watch is required after work stops.   After the 3 day period Early Shift becomes effective which means high risk activities must cease by 1 PM and a 2 Hour fire watch be maintained in any ares where high risk activities took place.
