Lasqueti Island Public Engagement Re: Notice/Survey to Property Owners

Hello...there seems to be some confusion surrounding the information provided to all Lasqueti property owners from the Powell River Regional District (PRRD) regarding services provided to Lasqueti. All of the information contained within the package sent to you relates to services provided to Lasqueti Island. For example, someone believes that "PRRD currently provides us with no library service or marine ramp". That assumption is incorrect. In fact, PRRD does provide library service through the Vancouver Island Regional Library and provides the marine ramp through the Lasqueti Marine Service. To be sure, all services noted in the package sent to you are paid for by Lasqueti taxpayers. We hope this clarification assists you in moving forward with the survey. Thank you.
