Lasqueti Island Public Engagement & Survey

On June 23, 2015 at an Open House meeting on Lasqueti Island held at the Community Hall, the Powell River Regional District listened intently to you, the electorate.  We heard that the public wanted to be engaged and be a part of problem solving.  You wanted to be invited in to help find solutions to challenges that the Regional District has with delivering certain services.  And, you wanted to exercise your right to say no.

To that end, the Board has deliberated and we want to hear from you again.  Our interest and what we want to know from you is what current services do you want to retain on the island?

The regular Regional Board meeting will follow at 5:00 pm.

The Regional District mailed out a Notice/Survey to all Lasqueti Island property owners on July 28, 2015.  Attached to the Notice/Survey were summaries of the services and the associated costs for those services currently provided on Lasqueti Island.  CLICK HERE to view these service summaries. 

Return your survey in person at the public engagement session, by mail (202 – 4675 Marine Avenue, Powell River, BC  V8A 2L2), via e-mail (administration [at] powellriverrd [dot] bc [dot] ca), or go online (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/lasquetiservices) and complete the survey.  Please complete and return the survey by August 31, 2015.
