No Qualicum First Nation chief coming Thursday

Qualicum First Nation chief Michael Recalma has had to postpone his trip to Lasqueti because of other band duties he has on Thursday. He hopes to come later this summer or fall.

The gathering at the fish trap archaeological site and the picnic on sunny and sandy Marshall's Beach will go ahead as planned, starting about noon. Low tide is 12:20. Get yourself there by water. Bring your lunch, and maybe some to share.
