Fire Hazard Rating Reduced - July 14 2015

The fire hazard rating for Lasqueti is reduced to moderate.  A rating of moderate allows High Risk Forest Activities to be undertaken without any shut down restriction however after 3 days of moderate a one hour fire watch after work stops is required.  Weather projections suggest our hazard rating will likely rise within a few days.  If the hazard rating returns to High and remains at High for 3 consecutive days early shift restrictions on high risk forest activities will be reinstated (ie.early shift, stop work @ 13:00, maintain fire watch for 2 hours).
