Category 3 burning restrictions and Early Shift effective June 10

June 10 - Category 3 Burning Restrictions in effect as of noon today. 

Category 3 fires are fires larger than category 2 fires (Backyard Burning).  This restriction means that new Burn Reference Numbers wont be obtainable until the restriction is lifted.  All existing Burn Reference Numbers are canceled. 

              Early Shift for those undertaking High Risk Forest Activities begins tomorrow, June 11.  Early Shift means all High Risk Activities must stop at or before 1 PM. (13:00) and a 2 hour fire watch must be posted in all areas of activity. In addition, if you are performing any High Risk Activities please ensure you have appropriate Fire Fighting resources on site.
