Upcoming Seminars at Jessie's Path

Annual Bug Hunt - Saturday June 13,  9am

With a warm winter behind us, you can be sure that the bugs will be rampant this summer.
Bring your aphids, your whitefly, your slug eaten leaves and Join me Saturday June 13th for a bug hunt.  We will discuss common problems, diagnosis, and emerging pests this season AND the good guys you should be looking out for.  Samples speak a thousand words so bring along a visual with your questions so we can identify the problem, find the solutions and prevent them in the future.

Battery Basics - Saturday July 11, 1:30 pm

Don’t know an amp from an amp hour, when your battery is full or empty, when it’s time to replace, and how big your battery bank should be. This workshop is for you. Ezra Auerbach, a 30 year veteran of the PV industry, will present an afternoon workshop that will teach participants battery basics that will answer all the foregoing questions and more. while the workshop will focus on lead acid batteries - the ones most common in our homes on Lasqueti. Ezra will also discuss emerging battery technologies and trends.
