Bull Kelp and Mixed Media Basket Workshop

Some examples of mixed-media baskets

In this basket we'll be using red cedar or wild cherry as our spooks to make shaping a little easier, and lots of bull kelp.  You have free range with this basket to make it a utensil or vase type, or a shorter,  table basket.  This basket is fun and easy to make.  Please  bring scissors, garden clips, a tape measure, oyster knife, needle with a large eye, a small soaker bucket and something to share for a pot luck lunch.
