For those following the Lasqueti 911 issue please note that during opening introductions at the recent 911 info meeting my name was mentioned with those in attendance that were there to provide information and promote the concept.  The inclusion of my name was in error, I do not support the inclusion of Lasqueti into the NI 911 system.  During my time as Fire Chief Powell River RD administration (not Merrick) brought  the 911 subject up with me many times and I always responded that it was my opinion the community wouldn't support it.
