Details on PRRD 911 Proposal for Mt. Trematon

Attached are more details on what the PRRD is wanting to have installed on Mt. Trematon.

The antenna structure proposed is six feet wide at the base, and is fifteen feet high.

This is actually a quite low-footprint installation, compared to many other installations I've seen and worked on.

Note that North Island 911 states that if their "request" to install this on Mt. Trematon is denied, their "alternative" is to install two 250 to 300 foot towers, one at each end of the island.

I find it surprising that they haven't considered locations on Texada which has excellent radio visibility across Lasqueti due to the elevation of Texada island.

See the attached document for more details, and I want to thank the Island Trust Fund for making this information public.
