A quick note to Darren...

Yesterday evening I drove down Tucker Bay road as some of us were trying to locate a whitish inflatable with 2 young men in it. When I came close to where someone is clearing the old log dump with the excavator, I parked out of the way and left my flashers on. Walking past the treetop across the road, and a young guy with his head in his phone I ascertained the whitish inflatable tied to the public access was not the one we are interested in. On my way out I asked the young guy if they were opening up the log dump-he said no they were just cleaning up the waterfront.

Darrren-there are quite a few people here who are clueless around heavy equipment. and how far they can reach. Trees fallen across the road are common here, but the people doing it have flag people on both sides to prevent the public from getting into the danger zones. If that young guy was the flagman you might want to explain the job to him. Smacking someone with a treetop pushed over with a machine will ruin more than one person's attitude.
