NO PIPELINES Solidarity
Lasqueti Solidarity
Sunday June 8 @2pm
Judy & Micheal's cottage (next door to amber & latisha's new pad)
Bring snacks & drinks to share
Let's discuss and plan ways that we as a community can support the First Nations and their fight against Enbridge & Kinder Morgan.
Members from our community have spent time at the Unist'ot'en camp, and are planning on returning. They will be there to share their experiences.
8 members of our community have been chosen to be "commenters" to the application hearing for the Trans-Mountain Pipeline proposal.
Lets come together and find ways to add our voices and resources as an act of solidarity with First Nations, the Earth and all her creatures, and our next 7 generations.
Spread the word to folks without internet connections please!
The Unist'ot'en (C’ihlts’ehkhyu / Big Frog Clan)along with other strong uncompromising allies will stop this destructive path, for the future generations, for the biodiversity, and for solidarity with our neighbours living amidst the heavy impacts in the Tar Sands Affected areas in Northern Alberta, and regions heavily affected by Fracking Natural Gas and Shale Oil, as well as communities impacted by Refineries, Pipelines, and Fuel Terminals and Port Expansions.
