Yoga Mat Carrying Basket

Oh, you’re gonna love this one!  Weaving with your choice of red cedar or wild cherry bark, we’ll be weaving a very strong, useful yoga mat carrying basket.  Similar in shape and size to a large arrow quiver, this basket is carried over the shoulder by a leather belt, so start looking for the perfect belt.  I’ll have a few extras that you can purchase.  I think we should be able to complete this basket in one long day, but if you require more time, we’ll finish it on Fri., Aug. 1.  As this basket takes shape you will also be able to weave in split cedar roots, bull kelp, and other grasses to create a beautiful design.  Please bring scissors, a measuring tape, belt, needle-nosed pliers, a needle with a large eye, a small soaker bucket, and something to share for a potluck lunch.
