LIAS AGM

At the LIAS board meeting a month prior to every AGM I always put forward a motion to either turn off the wireless signals (for maintenance of course), or choke them down for three days before the AGM in order to bring people out to the meeting, even if just to bitch.

This year my motion lost by one vote. Most people are too busy with their emails and movies to pay any attention to how they get the service.

It wasn't prezakly planned this way, but we've been successful in putting together a system which most people use and know next to nothing about. It's somewhat of a monster that wants to be fed...

If you like your internet service, remember you are a member of LIAS,  can speak out at the AGM, and possibly take on a part of the load. 

If you don't like your internet service, remember you are a member of LIAS (or can be), may speak out at the AGM, and volunteer your expertise to make it work better.

If this gets to you in time, please stop stomping slugs, transplanting, texting ,or whatever for a couple hours and attend the LIAS AGM, 3:30 PM at the hall.
