Annual Lasqueti Environmental and Community Stewardship Award

The Lasqueti Trust Committee is asking community members to nominate individuals or groups to recognize their environmental and/or community stewardship work.

There are not, as far as I am aware, any rules or procedures, but we ask for nominations so that people are recognized for their contributions to the health and well-being of our community.

Please send nominations in writing (on paper or electronically) to one or both of our local trustees or to our planner, Linda Prowse. Call or email Susan or Peter for more information.

A similar program has been run Trust-wide for many years. Nominations for this year closed a couple of weeks ago, and I expect that a list of nominees will be released soon. Details of the Trust-wide program are available at:
