Thank you for the community participation; another opportunity

Thank you to everyone who came out to today's Community Information Meeting (CIM) at the hall, and everyone who has contributed their thoughts, questions, concerns and ideas towards our False Bay centered review of our Community Plan, known as the False Bay Master Plan process.

The minutes of the two CIMs will be available before too long, as well as the correspondence received on the topics and other issues.You can still let us know what you think we should hear, email falsebay [at] islandstrust [dot] bc [dot] ca or call me (8785) or Susan (8589).

The next Lasqueti Trust Committee meeting will be on Thursday, May 1, beginning at 11am at the Arts Centre. Agenda packages are posted on the Trust web site at

There are also printed copies posted at the Community Hall, the Post Office, MaryJane's, the Lasqueti Hotel and on the ferry. There are several copies at the Post office that can be borrowed and taken home briefly. Please return them to the Post Office as soon as possible, and/or bring them to the meeting on Thursday.

Everyone welcome. Town Hall sessions, where you can raise your concerns, speak to us on your topics, or ask your questions, will be held near the beginning and end of the meeting.
