Four return ferry runs Thursday

For Thursday, April 3 and Thursday, April 10 there will be four ferry runs each day:

Leave False Bay             8am      11am     1pm*       4pm

Leave French Creek:    9:45am   noon*    2:30pm    5:30pm

Times for the noon run and the 1pm run are approximate, and depend on rapid unloading and loading of the ferry, and sea conditions.

Thursday is the busiest ferry day of the normal week. Hopefully these extra runs will help.

Western Pacific Marine will continue to go back for anyone left behind at the end of the day, if the last ferry run of the day is full.

Because there is almost no time for the "turn around", especially at the noon and 1pm runs, it will help speed loading and unloading if people will form a chain and hand totes and other items onto or off the ferry, following the crew's instructions. This avoids the need for people to get through the narrow doorway in both directions.  Your totes and baggage will be stacked on the ferry and on the float on the other side, where you can easily locate them, especially if your name is on the top and the side of each tote or other piece of baggage.
