Hall chairs, hall floor

When I was putting out chairs for the Community Information Meeting at the hall on Saturday, I noticed that many of the new-to-us chairs are missing one or more end-of-leg pads. If these chairs are used, they are very likely to make at least a small square impression on the hall floor. It's possible that they will make a large, or at least deep, and lasting, impression.

New pads for these chairs are being ordered.  Please ensure that the chairs you take into the hall have pads on the ends of all four feet. There are a couple of piles outside the chair room that are sort of roped off, or have :do not use" signs.

If you have time, please sort out and segregate the chairs that need new pads, and make it obvious that they shouldn't be used.
