Fall Fair: Made on Lasqueti

Fall Fair: Saturday Sept 21

Opens at 2 pm at the community hall, continues until the evening. Dinner at 6:30 pm will feature free-range turkey and roasted lamb, as well as fresh corn, potatoes and other veggies.

Entrance: children under 6: free
                children 6-12: $2
                adults: $5

Dinner: children: $6
             adults: $12

Come see what Lasquetians grow, breed, build, service, heal, concoct, design, craft or transform.

Consider bringing bread, pie, berry jam or salsa for the food competition, wine for the wine-tasting event, apples for the juicing display, fermented food for the fermentation station, or unusual veggies for making "compostable creatures". If you have a sweater from Jenna, bring it for a group photo.

Musicians: bring instruments and songs for "music on the porch" during the day and a bluegrass jam after dinner.

Proceeds will go to the Lasqueti Community Association to maintain and improve the hall and grounds.
