Reminder: Community Association members' meeting

LCA members' meeting: 7pm, Monday Aug 19 at the community hall

The LCA will be holding a members' meeting to discuss (a) issues and solutions for hall heating, and (b) short and longer term solutions for potable water. The current heating and water situations have a number of problems that risk the safety of hall users as well as liability of the LCA. The LCA executive and water committee have been exploring options that will be presented at the meeting, but open discussion is warranted for these significant issues.

The LCA is considering holding another members' meeting in late August or September to provide a forum to discuss the coal transhipment proposal on Texada. Keep an eye out for the notice.

All members welcome. New members can join at the meeting ($5 annual membership fee).
