Arts Festival

20th Annual Lasqueti Arts Festival this weekend!

Yes, its been 20 years of the wonderful community event celebrating and enjoying our musicians, writers, visual artists and artisans.  This year we has a great line-up planned - all events take place at the community hall:

Friday July 4

• 11am - 3pm: Art exibits with music
• 7:00pm : Our Writers Read with drinks & desserts at intermission

Saturday July 5:  12 hours packed with delight

• the fun begins at noon with art viewing and sales.
• Indoor and Outdoor live music - including our own Bolting Brassicas marching band
• Food (Pierre's Cafe & Outdoor Kitchen), Jugglers, Kid's ArtZone, etc.
• 5:30 pm Big Art Dinner
• 7:00 pm "Rand Holmes Retrospective"  Film showing
• 8:00 pm Dance through to midnight  with John's Basement, The Dump Trucks, & 24 Hour Church of Beer

Admission:

•   Day rate:  Adults $4  Teens $2  Kids free; 
•   Evening Dance: Adults $10  Teens $5
•   Day into Dance: combo Adults $12  Teens $5

We are always looking for volunteers to help with organisation, set-up, tear-down, and running events.  Please contact us if you can spare some time to help with anything.
