Spring Fling

Please come to False Bay School on Saturday May 18 for the annual Spring Fling celebration. Bring your picnic blanket and enjoy the afternoon while supporting the island children. For lunch there will be hot dogs, smokies, veggie burgers and a chili cook-off, ice cream cones and homemade strawberry shortcake, and not the weird spongy store-bought kind. There will be a plant sale, door prizes, raffle, silent auction with an incredible live goods and service auction at 1pm and I saw some of the Parksville donations come off the ferry and my fingers started twitching for my chequebook. There will be a plant sale, wheel of fortune, dunk tank and live musical entertainment. So please don't even think of cooking yourself a lonely lunch on your pretty homestead. You can do that on all the other days.

Proceeds go to programs at the school- hot lunches, field trips, and giving all the kids skating and swimming lessons. Happy, well rounded, healthy, pond-safe island children.

Thank you in advance from PAC.
