More Lasqueti research by Jen Gobby

Dear Lasqueti,

Greetings from snowy Montreal!

I am doing more research about Lasqueti for my studies at McGill. For this round of research I am trying to measure the percapita Lasqueti CO2 emissions and the level of Well Being in order to to try show how Lasqueti lives a more fulfilling life with a smaller carbon footprint than the average Canadian. This has important implications in a culture of political/economic decisions which assume that more consumption means a better life.

It involves a short questionnaire that will be mailed out in the next week and you can also fill it out on-line at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BT2872R

To be statistically significant, and thus comparable to Canadian averages I need at least 100 questionnaires filled out so please please, if you can, take the 10 minutes to fill it out, I will be eternally grateful!

The questionnaire is completely anonymous.

Deadline to fill it out the paper version is March 31st, 2013. I will send reminders over this month in case it slips your mind.

Thanks to Stephen W for helping me with this, seeing as I am not on island.

Feel free to contact me with questions, thoughts, or concerns.

.

Thanks for your tolerance and support with my pesky academic poking and prodding. Studying Lasqueti is not only fascinating but it also makes me feel connected to home while I spend another winter wasting away in Montreal. See you in the spring!

Much Love,

Jen Gobby
