about the workshop
A three to four -hour vocal workshop designed to facilitate finding your own song and your own voice while participating within a circle of singers. We’ll start with warm-ups and some basic vocal technique, some improvisation and learn a piece to share at the Grub & Groove that evening. . Something for everyone and a lot of joy.
Louise n’ha Ruby is a professional singer, songwriter, actor and vocal coach with live concert and television performances to her credit. With extensive training in both the classical and jazz genres, she has been performing for 35 years and teaching for 20. Her style is ever changing and developing but the essence of working with the breath and the body remains. She has been greatly inspired by her work with Rhiannon and this influence is evidenced in her approach to music and to life.

cost is $20 – $40 sliding scale. Bursaries may be available.
