Cat haters - you were onto something

Google toxoplasmosis gondii for a good reason you don't like cats. This cute little parasitic protozoa can only complete it's life cycle in cats, but can live in any warm blooded creature. When it gets into mice and rats it encysts in the part of their brain that deals with fear - and makes them attracted to the smell of cats so that the host can be eaten and they can complete their cycle. Humans are an incidental host, but their effects on our behavior are worth knowing. Bugs rule....
