Ferry out of service after October 8

There is a note on the bulletin board of the ferry saying that after the October 8 long (Thanksgiving) weekend, the ferry will be out of service while it goes for a re-fit. (That's not the word the note used, but it was something like that.)

I asked Captain Dave about it, and he said that all he knew was rumours: that there might be a replacement boat while the regular one is away. He and the rest of the crew will keep us informed.

Pass the word.
