Virus Check (Windows)

Use Windows?  Perform this simple check before July 9...

The "DNSchanger" virus has been around since 2007, but if your anti-virus software is not up-to-date, you wouldn't even know it was there.

To find out if your are infected, simply visit:  http://www.dns-ok.ca/
(This site is run by CIRA - the Canadian authority for Internet names - very trustworthy)

The virus is no longer a danger (in terms of its original payload), but a change coming July 9 could cause it to block internet access for infected machines.  Once you lose your internet connection, it will be harder to fix the original problem.

safe surfing... Joseph
