Worm Composting and Bug Hunts

June 9 at 1pm Jessie's House

By Donation

Speed up the composting process, deter the rats and supply yourself with healthy compost year round.  Vermiculture, or worm composting, allows you to compost your food waste rapidly, while producing high quality compost and fertilizing liquid. Best of all, it's self-contained and nearly odorless.
Sure you could purchase a commercial worm composter but why bother when you have all the necessary materials to build one at home.  We will demonstrate  the variety of materials that can be used, how to keep your worms healthy and the benefits over traditional compost methods.

Plus - Bug Hunting.  Already the aphids wasps and caterpillars are out.  Lets learn who is in the garden right now and what we can do about it.
