Keegan McCooey

Well another winter is almost over. Keegan is doing well in her 1st year as a Kinder 2 (ages 13-15). In the provincials she made top 30. (Which means she qualified for the Canadian American westerns) 

She placed 17th in the slalom at Panorama 23rd in the GS and got knocked out in the second round of skier cross.

On Mt Washington she made the podium with a 2nd in the skier cross. 

Current events include CanAms (Canadian American Westerns) in Panorama where she is racing against the best in western Canada and the States. She placed 71 in the Giant Slalom out of 85 girls! Today she races slalom which is her favorite! Introduced to Super G this year she will be competing tomorrow. Then skier cross also introduced this year.

Keegan will have one more race on Mt Washington on April 14 & 15th where Shea will also be racing.

After winning a trophy for most improved in the Mt Washington ski club, Keegan's coaches are very pleased with the results she is getting this winter. For a 1st year K2 Keegan is doing very well.
