Public Open House for Input into the Development of the Osland Nature Reserve Management Plan

OSLAND NATURE RESERVE MANAGEMENT PLANNING OPEN HOUSE

Members of the Lasqueti Community are officially invited to attend a public open house to provide input and direction on the development of a Management Plan for the Osland Nature Reserve is to take place 2:00 – 3:00 PM, March 10 at the Lasqueti Community Hall.

Hosted by EBB Environmental Consulting Inc. on behalf of the Islands Trust Fund, the meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for the Lasqueti Island Community to provide input into land use and conservation management of the Osland Nature Reserve.

Following the public meeting, an informal “walk and talk” within the reserve will take place to provide further opportunities to discuss reserve management and identify special habitat features.

Members of the Community, especially those unable to attend the open house, are encouraged to fill in and submit a general questionnaire regarding land use and conservation values of the Osland Nature Reserve.
