LINC - Tucker Bay property acquisition campaign - Phase I deadline

We are calling on all those who want to see Lasqueti protected areas, especially access to beach and trails mid island, to help us. The Tucker Bay property in LINC/ITF ownership would mean a connected area across the island from one side to the other! Pledges are needed by Nov 1st to help us get approval from the Islands Trust Fund Board (the conservancy arm of the Islands Trust) to partner with us on this acquisition campaign. This is the last meeting of the old board, and thus it is important they approve this partnership at this November meeting. Then they can go to other organizations and agencies to help us raise the rest of the money needed to acquire this land. Every donor counts, big or small.
