Arts Fest This Weekend!
Friday Viewing
All art can be viewed before the crowds on Friday from 11to 3pm, remember this is a viewing only and art sales begin Saturday at 1pm.
There will be delicious food available from 11 until 2pm
Friday Night
The Readings begin at 7 sharp and the doors open 6.30
There will be delicious desserts too so bring your sweet tooth!
Saturday Arts Festival
The gates open at 12 noonfor the arts festival.
The whole day will be filled with live local music up until midnight; including the very fun Black Sheep, followed by some groovy electronic sounds.
$5 entrance for the day (up till 7pm)
$10 for the dance only (7 pm onwards)
Or, $12 for the whole day
Kids under 12 are free
Art Sales
The art sales open at 1pm on Saturday, so be ready to snatch up your favourite new pieces
Events:
There will be live music all day, featuring some of our favourite local talent to listen to, dance with and simply appreciate...
The Island Fashion show is at 7 pmwhere we get to witness some of our islands own wearable art, from the recycled garbage collection to our finest pieces.
The Black Sheep will kick off the night from 8pm onwards, followed by dance
Little artists and big artists:
There will be a Valeria play corner and room for artistic expression on the day, so bring your imagination along as well.
Food: Our local kitchen will have food available all day from 12 till 9
Menu:
We are so excited to announce that the food at the Arts festival is primarily local!
Freshly made sausages (actually made on sight, and cooked to order), beautiful local lamb chops, hand made lentil burgers, and 4 different kinds of salads to choose from. There will also be baked potatoes, corn on the cob and more.
For any food sensitivities there are gluten, dairy and meat free options J
Meal serving sizes: children $ 6 Main$12 and Super Size $16
Desserts:
Plus there is a whole cafe dedicated to sweets alone! Pierrescafe will be serving coffee and treats for most of the day inside.
Drinks:
The bar will be serving beer, cider, and wine and there will also be lemonade and ice coffee, coffee and tea available at the festival too.
..... So be sure to bring your hunger and feel satisfied with all of these local foods!
Clean UP:
We still need a few volunteers to touch base with David Wilcox for clean up 333 8659 so please call him to let him know you will be there Sun 10 am onwards
Floaters:
