Cedar root gathering/garden basket workshop at Dazy's at Squitty Bay  Wed. July 6th and 7th. from 10:30 to 6:00.   

In this two-day workshop, we will weave a very strong, durable basket useful in the garden  or for pot lucks.  The entire basket is made from cedar.  The frame and spokes are cedar boughs, which are covered with split cedar roots and cedar bark. 

No previous weaving experience necessary.  Bring garden clips, a soaker bucket, scissors, work gloves, cloths for working outside, and something to share for a pot-luck lunch. 

Class space is limited so please phone ahead  to reserve a space.
Accommodations are available for off islanders. 

Two day workshop is $80.00 materials included.
