My computers dictionary tells me Burlesque is a comically exaggerated imitation of something. yes"> The words absurd and striptease also come up in the definition. If that kind of thing (hilarious, strange, sexy, provocative) appeals to you then please come to the Fourth Annual Tsk Tsk Revue on Saturday November 27th, 2010. Let your funny bones to be tickled in this celebration of Sensual and Fun Art. Get dressed up in your finest gear and head to the Community Hall early for dinner, drinks, live music, Dirty Dioramas and the Organ Raffle. At 6pm Jane and her Merry Crew will be serving up $20 Greek Platters (lamb or vegetarian options) but you need a reservation to enjoy the feast. Call Jane at 333 8584 to order your dinner. She will not be taking reservations after November 20th. yes">
The Tsk Tsk Revue, a local extravaganza of singing, dancing and playing, will begin promptly at 8pm. Allow yourself to be entertained by the hilarious and titillating antics of local and special guest stars including Tallaluh and her Hoop, and the wacky heroine Super Wet Nurse. Entry for the show is $15 but the scale can slide. (Seniors $10). Adults (18 and up) only due to racy material. After the show, shake out your Ya-Ya’s as the Beatfarmer gives us his music.
