Silent Art Auction Fundraiser and Down-Home Potluck

Come on down to the Arts Center for your last chance to see the marvellous paintings of Madonna Aeschlimann before they are unframed and shipped off to Ontario! Unfortunately the artist herself will not be in attendance. The works include paintings from the Stephen and Auguste series, as well as other works not shown before on Lasqueti. The paintings will be sold by Silent Auction, with half of the proceeds divided between the Last Resort Society and the Arts Council. The paintings are on display now until Friday evening, so come out and bid on your favorite! On Friday night, lets have a finger-food potluck and reminisce about our good times with Roland & Madonna & Phoebe... Maybe we can even make a little video to send to them in their new home on Manitoulin Island. Bidding ends at 7:00; potluck dinner at 6:00.
