This trio,composed of Gordon Carter,guitar / vocals, Wendy Knudson,upright bass/guitar/vocals and Bob Romanow,madolin/vocals,all from Cumberland/Courtenay area. Produces warm vocal harmonies and strong instrumentals with a definite bluegrass feel. Carter has an innate storytelling gift and combined with a compassion for the land he lives on,he brings to life stories of draft dodgers,touching tales of his family and social/politcal songs from the local area.Check out
Included in the evening will be a special performance of singer/songwriter duo Luke Guthrie and Ali Romanow.With a unique talent for composing and singing his country/jazz influenced melodies.Guthrie is establishing as a gited tunesmith and seasoned preformer. At home on the fiddle/trumpet or guitar, Ali has an unusual musical gift that blends her voice , her wide reaching instrumental abilities and songwriting.
