Shane Philip Concert and Dance
You are invited to the Community Hall on Saturday June 6, 2009 for an unforgettable musical experience with the amazing one man show of Quadra Islander Shane Philip as he weaves sounds and songs that inspire audiences.
For those of you unfamiliar with the self taught, self motivated musical stylings of Shane, he fuses the grooves of didgeridu, djembe, slide guitar, and foot tapping electronic kicks into a unique soundscape best described as organic dance music. He borrows from folk, reggae, blues and beyond to write and perform original tunes moving from spirited mayhem to mellow gold. He is a show you don't want to miss. Doors open at 8pm. $15/adult. $5 for kids over 12 (kids will love him!). Funds raised will go toward the the massive wish list for the Community Hall.
