Flu shots will be available at the Judith Fisher Centre during nursing clinic hours on Thursday October 19th and 26th as well as Thursday November 2nd.

The Service Building is the focus. In this building on the ground floor is the wood furnace which will heat the health center and various other buildings as well as the battery system, the inverters, meters, backup generators, and whathaveyou. The second floor is for an office for LIAS, and storage. The roof is covered with some 15 KW of solar panels.

The new steel roofing for the Health Center will be here the 24th, and Sylvain wants to start installation the 27th, weather allowing. This is where you come in...We need 4 to 6 people to make this go easily and quickly.

While we're waiting for the trusses and roofing which should be ready late this coming week, there are a couple jobs need doing at the new health center.
The foundation painting needs to be finished.
The perimeter foundation drains need to go in-all the pipe, glue, drain-rock, geo-cloth, etc is onsite. Bring your favourite shovel, or pick or mattock.
