The qathet Regional District is considering a draft Alternative Notice Bylaw to allow for additional public notice methods that may better serve our diverse community.

Take a moment to fill out the qathet Regional District's Public Notices Preference Survey before December 19, 2025.

he qathet Regional Emergency Preparedness Program will test the Community Notification System on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm.

The Community Notification System is designed to send critical messages by phone, email, or text message in an emergency.

Get Ready, Stay Ready!

Join us on April 6, 2024 at the Community Hall from 10 am to 1pm for a hands-on emergency evacuation planning experience with mapping and evacuation route scenarios, interactive demonstrations within the Evacuation Supply Container and practical emergency preparedness information.

The qathet Regional District will meet to consider the proposed 2024 budgets and 2024-2028 Financial Plan at the Finance Committee meetings and Board Meetings from January through February, 2024.

The Regional Hospital District will meet to consider the proposed 2024 budget at the Regional Hospital District meetings between January and March, 2024.
