We want to thank the many people who have sent us photos and records of toads and bat roosts on Lasqueti. We have heard that toadlets are now on the move, so we wanted to remind you that we would love to hear from more of you!

Hi everyone! 

 

Just a reminder that Chris and I are putting on a presentation at the Arts Centre on Tuesday March 28, where we will discuss our Species at Risk project, talk about some of these endangered species in your backyard, and attempt to answer any questions you may have. 

Hopefully see many of you there!

We (Aimee Mitchell, Chris Currie, Dan Stewart) are a team of biologists that received federal funding to study and assist in the conservation of at-risk species in this region (Lasqueti, Texada, and the Powell River/Lund mainland). Some of you may have met us or heard about us when we spent some time on the island back in November.
