Product Summary:
These LED bulbs are solidly made, the light is very warm and they come in 12V, 24V, and 120V versions
Since they are rated for 30,000 hours (and can last as long as 80,000 hours), I figure I'm good for at least 30 years! What a concept, no more changing bulbs...and no mercury to worry about (remember, if a fluorescent tube breaks, evacuate the area immediately without breathing: the mercury vapour is very dangerous to our bodies).
Another huge bonus is that they light up fully, immediately in the cold, so I've put one outside and in the greenhouse. The 5W bulbs are about 1 cm (1/2") longer and a bit narrower than the old incandescent bulbs.
They come in BOTH DC (12 and 24 Volt) and AC (actually 100 to 240V autosensing) versions.
