Yes, another child from the Island has the ski racing bug! Shea McCooey place 3rd in the duel glalom on Sat and 3rd in the glolom on Sunday. She also got a 5th in the long jump Sat and 57km/hr in the speed trap. Fun was had by all.

Keegan skied well in the westerns (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan) at Silver Star. Feb 18th - 2 runs

1st run GS - 54th place

2nd run GS - 57th place

Feb 19th - 2 runs

1st run - 41st place

2nd run - DSQ (disqualified) straddled gate

Keegan brought home the silver in Slalom last Saturday.

Keegan skied well on Hemlock Mt. Her first run she fell twice but still managed to get 15th place.

Her second run was fantastic giving her the 4th in Giant Slalom.

She will be heading to Grouse Mt this weekend so wish her luck! :)

I would like to thank eveyone that helped Keegan in her dream of ski racing.

Keegan made tie-dye t-shirts this summer and sold them at the market, Fireman's picnic, and at rock show. So thank you for your support. Also I would like to thank eveyone that came to our night of entertainment and those who donated to Keegan's program.
