Good morning everyone!
I'm posting this morning to thank everyone who came out to this event on March 17th to raise money for the Lasqueti Cemetary additions/improvements. It seems like the majority of those who are on the island at the moment came out to support this cause. Way to go Kathy Schultz for having a vision and making it happen!
Thank you to David and Elaine for donating to make the bingo a major hit and to Ivy for joining her in getting everyone so excited about bingo. Thank you to Joy for organising the silent auction and to all the folks that donated items towards it. A huge thank you to the Hopelessly Hapless Harpies and those who joined them to put on such a great performance for the crowd! Thank you to everyone who helped in the kitchen, you were all superstars! And to those who came to eat at the BBQ, thank you for your patience and understanding for the wait for your food.
All in all this was a heartwarming event that brought the community together yet again to make an idea into a reality. Looking forward to seeing the end result, have a great day!
