What's with the jets?

Does anybody know what the deal is with the loud and annoying jets flying over the island at night? I suspect its probably something to do with the Olympics.

Hi Heather, Laurence and I thought at one point a jet was going to land on the house or the pond by our house. We think it's " a show of force" for the Olympics. K.

When I did fireworks for the olympics we had 7 guys a tug a barge and 2 tug employes. The 7 of us for 17 hours and the tug guys 24 hours. We where 17 thou a day. The cops showed for 2 hours 6 guys 4 boats it was 16 thou for them. Yay for protection
