I wrote this piece to run in the April Isle&Times and want to post it here too for maximum viewing. I believe that over the coming spring and summer, if we talk to our summer neighbors who have the habit of leaving their vehicles on the road side all winter to let them know it just doesn't work that way anymore, come fall we might see some change in the problem.

We are trying to locate a friend of ours, Johnny Theissen, who has been living on Lasqueti for some time now (2 years) on a boat moored in Squitty Bay.The boat is quite distinctive, it's a 30ish foot steel hull built by Brent Swain.
