Darrin Todd Starck

Darrin's friendship was like a foundation stone, a backdrop in my life.  His presence and support was always there, rock solid, not always in sharp focus, but always dependable.   Cancer took him this summer (2008) - no doubt the unintended, but not unforeseeable consequence of a lifelong addiction to tobacco.   

Darrin was a remarkable man - at once opinionated and strong-willed, yet subtle, kind, and soft-spoken.  We love him dearly, and will miss him always.
