ferry update, fare increase May 1

Capt Allan Knapp says that the Centurion VII will be here and providing our ferry service through Monday, April 3. Starting Thursday, April 6, MV Hollyburn will be our ferry, probably for a month or so.

Fare increases go into effect Monday, May 1. Increase is 50 cents for adults, 25 cents for children, students and seniors. Animals, crated or uncrated, will all cost $3. Everything else stays the same as it's been since our last increase in April 2015.

Student rate applies to island residents only, aged 18 or younger, and full time (excluding post secondary students) with pre-approved acceptable ID.
