Hello from across the strait

Just wanted to say hi. I have nothing of importance to say.

I occasionally look at your realty listings, and wonder if I could do it (financially speaking). Some listings are probably within my grasp, but perhaps time has taken it's toll. I live across the strait in Garden Bay. Had a 1/2 acre lot with a new home, then upgraded to a 5 acre bare lot. Four rather long years later, I've managed to create a nice little park (paradise).

I would be inclined to buy a bare lot and create, but as I mentioned, just not sure if I have the energy to start over, yet again...lol

However, from what I've read, your Island is what I dream about insofar as being a place where one can carry on, without hacking red tape. Plus, it appears you have large lots, and accordingly, lots of seclusion from the bustle.

Although, being IN the strait, you probably get a few windy days, which is my Achilles heel. Not that it is calm seas over here, but I suspect it is a tad tamer over here in winter.
